Tabletop & miniatures

Miniatures and terrain
for the whole table.

D&D heroes, monsters, busts, bases and modular terrain, gathered from every 3D-model site in one search and linked straight to the creator.

Tabletop gaming is one of the biggest single reasons people buy a 3D printer. A single dungeon night can call for a party of heroes, a horde of goblins, a boss monster, scatter terrain and a set of matching bases, and printing them yourself costs a fraction of buying pre-painted models. This category pulls all of that together: character miniatures, creatures and monsters, display busts, modular terrain and dungeon tiles, movement trays, and the bases everything stands on.

What you'll find here

The tabletop bucket spans a few distinct kinds of print, and knowing which you're after makes searching faster:

Resin or FDM?

Fine-detail minis are usually printed on a resin (MSLA) printer, which captures faces, fabric folds and weapon edges that a filament printer can smear. Larger terrain and chunky props print perfectly well on a normal FDM machine and are cheaper per piece. Many designers ship pre-supported files for resin alongside the raw mesh, so if you print resin, look for those to save yourself a support-painting session.

A note on licenses. Plenty of miniature designers release free STLs, but many earn a living through paid releases and Patreon-style memberships. Meshhound links you straight to the original listing so the price and license are always one click away, and the free-only filter hides paid results across every source at once.

Where the best minis live

For tabletop specifically, dedicated miniature platforms tend to have the deepest catalogues, while the big maker sites carry a huge amount of free terrain and beginner-friendly models. Meshhound indexes the maker sites today and is adding the miniature-focused platforms as access is secured, so a single search reaches wider over time without you having to re-learn where to look.

Instead of checking one site, then another, then a third, run one query and let Meshhound merge the duplicates. Try a search for "articulated dragon" or "goblin", or jump straight into the full category below.
