Flexi and articulated animals
The flexi animal is one of the internet's favourite prints for a reason: a snake, shark or dragon that wriggles as soon as you free it from the bed, printed in one piece with no assembly. They print well in PLA, look great in colour-shifting or silk filaments, and make excellent gifts and stress-relievers.
Planters and the garden
On the plant side, printed planters are both decorative and practical. Look for designs with proper drainage holes or a self-watering reservoir, and consider PETG over PLA for anything that will sit in damp soil or outdoors, since PLA can soften and degrade with prolonged moisture and heat.
